I have a lot of social anxiety, which makes quarterly life quite hard to execute like normal people do, you see, I’m always sad about social interactions, being in large crowds, or having any attention directed my way.
These afflictions make it so complicated to do straight-forward tasks like going to the grocery store, attending task interviews, in addition to going to social celebrations.
That’s why I easily dread the holiday season, when there’s no way to avoid all the seasonal parties you acquire invitations to. Every celebration is awkward in addition to uncomfortable for me already, so it’s especially disappointing when the indoor air temperature is also less than ideal. This is exactly what happened last weekend, when I attended a formal celebration with my wife in addition to the Heating in addition to Air Conditioning system was certainly on the fritz. We walked into the galla in addition to everything was pristine; but, the temperature was ridiculously high. The furnace seemed to be running on full blast, in addition to it was scalding hot inside the reception hall. Within ten minutes my friend and I were drenched in sweat, fanning ourselves, in addition to anxiously pulling on our collars trying to breath. It felt as if my friend and I were trapped inside an oil furnace. Every time I was introduced to a new human I had to turn around in addition to mop the perspiration off my forehead before wiping my sweaty palms on my dress so I could shake their hand officially. The heat was so overbearing that my friend and I left the celebration within half an hour. My wife was disappointed, but honestly, this was the best case scenario for me.
