It would seem that every lady in my family has a skill.
My mom is the woman you call for anything plumbing related, as she can repair a toilet, install a water furnace or even set up a new shower in no time at all.
Other times, , my sister would be the laptop guru! Downloading programs, sending big files, or your laptop is just not working? That’s where my sister comes into play! My biggest and best skill is that I am amazing at lifting heavy things. I am the one you call for moving a couch, taking apart large pieces of drywall, or moving your entire house in a few trips! My skill is not the most fun, no. But, I try to get out of it. My family is tricky though, as they can consistently lure me in! My sibling called me the other day to come over and watch the hockey game, which sounded like a wonderful time! The playoffs were happening then too, and I didn’t have cable. I was so gleeful to watch the game! My sibling had DVR and wanted to save time, which she said was to make sure the two of us didn’t have to watch ads. She said that while the two of us are waiting to watch the game, I might as well help her move her boiler system! Very crafty! The boiler was super heavy and very bulky, and even with the two of us, we had to move it out of multiple doorways. I then had to assist in lifting the furnace in the back of the pick up truck. With the moving process of the furnace being so awful, I kept hitting my hands on door frames while my sister dropped the boiler on my foot. All in all… it was a less than enjoyable day!
