I am someone who prefers to rebel against typical norms. I want to be different! And I will fight for my ability to do so. However, some things should always remain the same. For instance, I don’t want to be different in the way I dress while I was in Winter months of the year, although I have to. My dad prefers keeping the heater set to about 91 degrees, and can you believe that! That is way too warm and overheated for a home in any time of the year; During the Winter, every one of us in my family are hotter than every one of us in my family are while I was in the Summer. It is tepid and hot enough to sweat in my loft with that heater going full blast. It forces myself and the others around this house to cut the norms and be forced to wear just shorts around the house! This is completely impractical to say the least… When I leave the protection of the home heating plus have to go outside, I either have to freeze to death in the snow or change my clothes, neither of which should be necessary. My dad must spend a fortune on his monthly energy bills to keep that good old heater running like that. During the Summer, its cooler because every one of us live in the North plus don’t require any heater system units, but every one of us in my family also don’t own an air conditioner. It is amazing. I just wish my dad would be normal and just go and set the thermostat so that everyone would be comfortable. I just want to wear pants as well as a t-shirt while I was in the Winter. Is that a lot to ask these days?
