Draining my water bottle during workouts

Nick June 29, 2020

I’m hoping this habit will continue throughout the rest of the day.

I often fail to drink enough water during the day. I don’t actually like the taste of water, and I frequently get dehydrated. I’ve had some major issues with headaches because of this. There have been times when the headaches became so severe that I thought I might throw up. I had to lie down and I dealt with chills, body aches and even fever. All of these consequences were the result of dehydration. I’ve totally passed out a couple of times. I recognize the importance and rewards of drinking plenty of water. I always carry a water bottle around with me at all times, but I forget to drink out of it. I have finally figured out a method to make certain that I at least drink one full bottle of water each afternoon. Every morning, I exercise for approximately an hour. I switch the style of exercise I’m doing with every song on the playlist. I make myself take a couple sips of water between the exercise and song chance. Once I complete a set of lunges and squats, I drink some water. After I complete all my stretches, I grab the water bottle and chug from it. I finish the entire bottle before the conclusion of the workout. If it’s an especially strenuous training session, I’ll drink two bottles of water. I’ve gotten myself in the habit of drinking water throughout the whole workout. I’m hoping this habit will continue throughout the rest of the day. Although I would prefer to drink ice tea, wine or beer, I realize that water is a superior and healthier choice. There’s no calories, so I can drink lots of it. I am willing to try just about anything to eliminate the terrible headaches I suffer due to dehydration.
