I knew keeping the schedule of walking every day was going to be rough and after I was done with my walk, I went right back to my A/C and TV.
I know I’ve got to go and get outside more, but to put it simply, I just don’t feel like doing it. Why spend a bunch of time outside in the hot overheated sun, when I can instead be inside enjoying my air conditioning system? But since I made a goal to try to get out more, I got off the couch and saved watching TV for later. I probably walked outside for 30 minutes and the entire time I was thinking how I badly wanted to go back inside and sit next to my wonderful cooling unit and just continue watching TV. I knew keeping the schedule of walking every day was going to be rough and after I was done with my walk, I went right back to my A/C and TV. I kept repeating the same schedule everyday and honestly it didn’t seem to change much for me, I didn’t feel any different or any better and while I am aware that my TV obsession and A/C unit obsession is unhealthy, I decided to take the weekend off and enjoy myself. Before I knew it, it was already next week and I hadn’t taken a walk once that week. I think I’ll blame it on the pandemic and watch the latest news on TV about it. Besides, it’s best that I stay inside and keep myself safe from the virus, right? All the more reason for me to stay indoors and enjoy the air conditioning system a bit longer.
