When a new HVAC company opened in our area, they were having all kinds of special sales. The sale that really interested me was the fact that they were offering 30% off on new HVAC installations. I actually had been thinking about getting my HVAC system upgraded for years, but I was always turned off by the high costs of installations. So I decided to go over to the new HVAC company to see what they had on display. They had all kinds of nice heating and cooling systems. The radiant heated floors definitely were impressive and I was thinking my wife certainly would love something like that. I asked the HVAC professionals if I could have radiant heated floors installed only in the bathrooms and then have a nice energy efficient HVAC for the remainder of the house. They said that was definitely doable. They would likely go for electric heated floors as they do not require a boiler system to work, and they would provide toasty floors in the bathroom whenever we wished. They also easily recommended a ductless mini split for the house. They would be able to split my house up in zones and I would be able to have customized temperature control settings in the different areas. That really sounded wonderful to me and I was impressed by the low price as well! On top of that, I would be getting 30% off so I decided to go for it. The heated floor installation was easy enough because the bathrooms aren’t huge. The ductless mini split installation was interesting. I swore I could have done that type of installation on my own. The new HVAC system works great though and I”m glad this new HVAC company came into town.
