“Spring has sprung with a new air purification system” was the subject of the email, the five-star hotel sent to the whole home air purification company. I was the senior HVAC technician at the company. After receiving the email, I put together my team and we analyzed the situation with the HVAC equipment on our drive there. This was the only five-star hotel with a branch in our town and it meant a big deal for us to work for the hotel. They were holding an event, Spring has Sprung, at the hotel that’d see very important persons attend. A meeting with the manager revealed that they were preparing the building for the guests. The most important and most emphasized thing was having great indoor quality. This is of course achievable with a properly functioned and well-maintained air purification unit. The hotel had an impressive smart HVAC, I had only used one of those when I was working in the city. The HVAC system had malfunctioned and we had to replace it. We got a good deal on the new air purification system from the local provider who also sold us a dozen air filters. By the time we were done, it was early into the evening. When we switched on the new system, the air quality increased significantly a few moments later.
