I got a promotion and a huge raise at work. I went from a junior executive to the top sales agent in less than 6 months. The bosses were so impressed with my work that they gave me an office with my own climate control system and refrigerator. I always dreamed that I would have an office with my own refrigerator stocked full of drinks and snacks that I love. I have coca-cola, sprite, and root beer in the fridge. I also have a supply of peach and strawberry banana yogurt. I keep the air temperatures at 70°, during the winter and the summer months. Having climate control is certainly one of the best perks of the new office. None of the other guys on the floor have access to the temperature and I know how hot and uncomfortable it gets during the summer. I have a refrigerator and I can also control the indoor air temperatures. That is absolutely important, because the office building is old and badly in need of updates. I definitely feel like I can work harder when I am in a comfortable environment. That’s one of the biggest reasons why I had so many sales during the time that I was stuck at home in quarantine. I thrive in an environment that is cold and quiet. I found a quiet Corner in the house and I stayed there all day while my wife was at work and the kids were in school. It was the perfect hiding place to get a lot of work done.
