I decided to try something different.
I was going to get a programmable thermostat.
I had been using an old dial thermostat for as long as I could remember. This is because I’m a bit of an old school person and I have always preferred older technology over newer technology. With the times changing comes change, so I decided that it was time to keep up with modern technology and I was going to get a program for thermostat. The first way that I was going to get a programmable thermostat was I was going to go down to my local heating and AC business and see what it was that they had available. This was easier than I expected, what I was thinking about getting a programmable thermostat was I thought it was going to be some long complicated process where I would spend a long time picking out a thermostat, and then have to wait weeks for an appointment to have a heat and AC worker install it. However my experience working with this heating and AC company was very different and it surpassed my expectations. First of all, smart thermostats are far more affordable than you may think, and also many of them are able to be installed yourself and there’s no need to have a heating and cooling appointment. This is something I was really happy to discover and I was able to purchase the smart thermostat and install it myself that same day.
