When it comes to cooling my home in the super hot summer time months of the year, the way I like my air conditioning is with the old window a/c.
I do not really dig having central heating and air conditioning for anything.
Even for heating in the super cold winter I use a gas furnace and not a central heating and air conditioning system’s heater. There is something about central heating and air conditioning that just does not agree with my body. It is just too dry. It does not matter at all if it is the heater or the air conditioner, it is still all the same and all dry to my body. I just do not like it. This is why i have a monster vintage window air conditioning system in my living room, then a few regular window air conditioning systems in each bedroom. Simply because I need my house cool, but not by way of central heating and air conditioning systems. I had my fill of central heating and air conditioning when I had one for about 10 years and it really dried out my skin. It didn’t matter what time of the year it was. It is just the type of heating and air conditioning that comes out of central heat and a/c units just does not agree with my body as I was saying earlier. So this is why I prefer the old way of heating and air conditioning best and will stick with that as long as I humanly possibly can. I will not change back to the modern central heating and air conditioning systems ever again!
