I had a really kind HVAC gentleman out today.
I needed a minor repair on my cooling system.
It was just a simple switch of parts, because one of the parts in my air conditioner malfunctioned, and needed to be replaced. Well, the part replacement wasn’t super expensive but it was expensive enough. The last heating and cooling technician that came out wasn’t rude, but he wasn’t super friendly either. This time, I had a different HVAC serviceman come out today, and he was incredibly nice. After he had successfully replaced the part in my A/C device, and confirmed that the cooling system was back to working again, we started talking. He found out that I was a new customer, and he told me that I qualified for their new customer discount. The discount was only 10% but I was still grateful for it. Maybe the A/C professional could see that I was struggling financially, and he let me use the employee discount, as well as an old expired A/C coupon I had from them. He was extremely generous, and I was honestly surprised at how much money he saved me. The repair went from being somewhat costly to inexpensive. I was incredibly grateful, and I made sure to thank him multiple times. When the cooling tech left, I made sure to call his A/C corporation and tell his company about how great of a worker he was. I wanted to make sure that the A/C business knew what a fantastic and kind cooling professional they had.
