Geothermal heat pumps are a safe and clean choice for temperature control

Geothermal heat pumps are the most environmentally responsible possibilities for temperature control, and the systems draws from an endless energy supply right in the backyard.

The earth absorbs almost half of all solar energy and remains at a constant temperature between fifty and seventy degrees Fahrenheit, then geothermal heat pumps take advantage of this consistent temperature to traninterest energy between the lake condo and the earth via an underground loop system, and only a minimal amount of electricity is needed to power the actual heat pump.

The majority of geothermal heat pumps produce four units of energy for every a single unit of electricity required to power the equipment! During the colder weather, water flowing through the sealed underground loop absorbs heat from the earth and transfers it to the geothermal unit. The heat is then compressed to a higher temperature and supplied to the indoor system for circulation. During the summer time months, heat is pulled from the lake condo and transferred into the cooler ground through the loop system, and no fossil fuels are burned to generate heat, so there is no threat caused by combustion. There’s no worry over flames, fumes, stinks, boiling surfaces or carbon monoxide. Geothermal heating and cooling is completely clean, safe and provides healthy indoor air quality. There is only a single system to maintain, and with few moving parts, there is actually little necessary upkeep! It requires only periodic checks and filter changes; While this innovative type of temperature control is gaining popularity, the technology is not new. Geothermal systems have been available for over fifty years. They are a proven solution to comfort, offering a reliable, efficient and convenient means of year round temperature control.
