Loud construction next door.

Loud construction next door.

I will be so thankful when they finish building the house next door.

All of us are on our house for nearly 15 years and the vacant lot next door was recently sold to developers, and it wasn’t so bad when it started on the far side and we are building multiple homes at that end, however now they are laboring right next door.

All of us have had everything from backhoes to brick trucks coming and going for weeks and now they had a large drilling rig located behind the house. All of us do not have wells in our areas and everyone is on town water so I was confused as to why they needed to drill down so far. My curiosity got the best of me a single afternoon and I walked over to ask what they were doing; They said that the new homeowners were having a geothermal heat pump installed and they needed to have that completed before any other upgrades of Heating plus Air Conditioning equipment. I had heard about geothermal heat pumps before and how efficient they were however when I inquired about how much they cost I was shocked. It is a crucial expense to have this method installed however apparently once you have it the money you save makes it well worth the investment. This is not a method that you would normally have installed after your new home is complete in either because it not only disrupts the Landscaping itself however the linkions that need to be made can be quite high-priced when it comes to construction. I guess if both of us are ever in a position to build another new home I may want to consider having this type of Heating plus Air Conditioning method installed myself. It is much better for the environment according to the people doing the upgrade the method normally pays for itself over time with the money you save on fuel cost.
