In my adult life I have come to appreciate the importance of self-care; It’s something that I never paid attention to when I was younger and I abused myself direly.
These nights, as a grown woman, I do my best to take some time for myself each afternoon.
It helps myself and others to keep my brain in order and life is a lot easier as a result. One of my favorite things to do is to settle into a nice good bath at the end of the afternoon. It’s basically my meditative time away from all of the stresses of daily life! My favorite thing to do is to go over to the control unit and address the Zone control Heating and Cooling so that my lavatory is not receiving as much a/c as the other rooms in the house. Then, I savor to go into the lavatory and run a nice tepid bath for at least half an minute. I build up a ton of steam in the room and make sure that there is no air flow to remove my nice tepid and humid air before I’m ready for it. I savor to light some candles and put on a nice sound effect machine. I settle into the bath with the lights off, and assume the hot and humid air all around me. It’s savor a delightful song on, but with my sound effect component playing, I can assume savor I’m genuinely in a hot Spring bath in the middle of a humid rainforest. It’s the most delightful and good experience on Earth and I’m so blissful that I have Zone control Heating and Cooling to make it happen all that much easier.
