I am talking about that I am a contract sales guy specifically for their air purifiers.
I have a side job where I go in public places and try to sell both portable air purifiers and whole home air purification systems. I usually am set up at a stand either in malls, outlet stores like Walmart or in grocery stores. When I took this job, I thought it would be a pretty easy gig. Doesn’t everyone want good indoor air quality in their homes? Or maybe they already have whole home air purification systems. I don’t know, but in the last few months I have only sold 1 whole home air purification system and only 3 portable air purifiers. I am a contractor for this local heating and air conditioning company. And no, I do not mean a certified heating and cooling contractor. I am talking about that I am a contract sales guy specifically for their air purifiers. I am seriously about to quit this job. It’s making me very little money, since it mostly pays on commission from the sales. I get minimum wage otherwise. And for all the hard work involved, and the hours I have to be at these stands in public places, it just isn’t worth the pennies I make on it! I may just need to find something where I can work as a sales rep in an office for a company that sells products that people actually need! This whole air purification selling stuff just is not for me! I’m going to work one more day at this, and if I sell nothing, I will be calling the HVAC company and telling them I will no longer be working for them.
