When I was a kid, our Grandfather was constantly giving us age advice that may or may not have made an impact on our young brains! As an adult, I wish that I had taken more notes, then i guess about a lot of his advice would make sense to me now, after living a few years as a grown up.
For instance, when he used to tell me all about the process of purchasing your own home, I genuinely blanked out most of the time; The one thing that I do remember him saying is it’s important to visit a house numerous times before you ever make an offer.
As an adult, I totally understand why he said this, and recently, I was searching for a new house plus thought I had found the venue of our dreams. I almost made an offer after the first time I saw it, however then I remembered what Grandfather said. I asked the realtor if they would be available next Tuesday plus Tuesday. Thank God I did! By the time I arrived on Tuesday, I noticed that the indoor air was much cooler. The outdoor air temperature had dipped quite a bit, plus it felt adore the central heating method was struggling to keep up with the lower ambient temperature, then when I came again on Tuesday, I noticed that the air was completely stagnant in the house, however now, I could not even tell if the central heating or cooling method was running. There had been some rain, plus the interior of the new home seemed to be collecting humidity plus mildew stinks. After going to see the house plus inspecting the central heating, cooling, plus ventilation method under numerous different temperature conditions, I realized that this new home was going to be a cash pit. Thank God I knew about Heating, Ventilation, plus A/C systems plus house buying processes.
