I was honestly glad when my grandkids told myself and others they were coming out for a visit… This would supply myself and others a option to show off our current underfloor heating & our current carpeting… My partner and I got the underfloor heating installed last Summer and it keeps our apartment so comfortably warm; Our son and the grandkids acted like they were honestly impressed with the current heating despite the fact that I think they were lying… You see, the next day I found that the window in the guest room was slightly open and I think I had not left it open myself.
That means that one of them must have opened the window to let the sizzling air out. Of course, I confronted them about it but no one would confess that they open the window. I let it go but the next evening I walked past the guest room and felt a chilly breeze coming from under the door. The next day there was no open window despite the fact that I think my family had opened it during the evening. I brought up the topic during breakfast and finally, the whole family admited. They explained that the underfloor gas furnaces worked too well and they could not sleep in such heat. This explains a lot. I told them that there has a control component in their room and if they can change the settings in the guest room to be cooler. The whole family laughed at this. They had thought that the control component was for the whole apartment and so they did not want to touch it, but now that they think each room has its own temperature setting, I think everybody will be more comfortable tonight.
