After highcollege, our sibling and her friends went on a road trip across the country, they stopped at several campsites and hotels along the way.
They had spent several years planning and preparing for this month long journey; Knowing that their parents would be sad about them being on their own for so long and so far away, they assured them they would maintain the vehicle before the trip… My sibling was the driver and our dad made sure they had everything they needed before the set off on this journey across the country.
They were prepared for anything, or so they thought. They were taught how to change a tire, check tire pressure, and to keep an eye on the dashboard, and if anything happened, they were instructed to call their parents before going to a mechanic in a strange town, however half way through the trip, the a/c in the vehicle stopped blowing chilly air. They were traveling in the middle of the summer time and an a/c was necessary. They were not prepared for this kind of problem! They knew it could be much worse, so they rolled down the windows and dealt with it. They were staying in hotels most of the time and knew they would be able to take advantage of the a/c in the rooms, and when they arrived home, they had several stories to tell. They also returned lake lake house with a large appreciation for air conditioner! My sibling ended up purchasing a current vehicle later that year and was unquestionably thankful for the AC in the current car.
