Things can get pretty awkward at times in a group setting.
I actually have a book club that I go to regularly and we talk about the books that we are reading.
We always read the same books, but then there are other books that we suggest the other members of the group read. The thing is, we sometimes don’t easily agree on the temperature control settings in our meeting places. We will meet at various households and typically the owner of the location will have preferred temperature control settings. When somebody asks for the temperature control settings to be adjusted though, everybody will argue about whether they should be changed or not. When people meet at my place, I tend to put it all to a vote. I honestly don’t like having to adjust the temperature control settings for other people at my own house, but I guess it’s fair to the rest of the group. Other than fighting over temperature control, I feel that everything is mostly fine. We have some pretty good talks about some incredible books. I have recommended some pretty good books that other members of the group have enjoyed immensely. I’m just glad we don’t have to spend time reading the books together, that would be a nightmare. I prefer sitting by the fireplace reading my books. Sometimes I will even turn on the A/C to balance the heat in my home because I enjoy using the fireplace even when it’s not chilly. I’m sure the others would say that I am crazy for using the fireplace when it’s not needed.
