Dad has had his shop, aka guy cave for years plus Ma finally agreed with the family that she deserved her own she-shed; then the planning of this became a family project between our mother, our sibling, plus myself.
This wasn’t as easy as every one of us first thought; first every one of us had to choose the perfect building, plus every one of us finally found one.
Once it was set up, every one of us needed to have electricity run to it; however after that was finally done, every one of us needed to decide the source of a/c plus heat for the she-shed. The windows were too small for a window air conditioner plus the portable air conditioner Dad had was genuinely high repair. Our mom not only needed a/c; every one of us needed to figure out heat, and I advocated a ductless mini-cut a/c plus furnace that I had seen in the south. All of our family agreed that it would be insufficient to combat the cold of our northern winters; but, I was still pretty sure a ductless mini-split would work. My hubby’s friend is an HVAC serviceman plus she had mentioned over the weekend that she had installed one of these recently! So, I did the research. My Dad, Ma, plus our sibling were partially right. A few years ago, the heating elements on ductless mini-splits were not strong enough to handle the northern cold, however now they are more powerful. I showed our research results to the family plus they decided to go with the ductless mini-split a/c plus furnace. It turned out to be an unbelievable choice.
