My wife and I have been pretty stressed out with our jobs for the longest time.
Finally I saw this advertisement of a little lake house getaway and I thought that we could use that kind of experience.
I told my wife about it and she was on board. She said it would be nice to go fishing and relax in front of a cozy fireplace. So we arranged for a little vacation and I rented the lake house. When we reached our destination, it was as nice as it seemed in the advertisement. The lake was beautiful and it was peaceful and quiet in this place. We relaxed in the place for awhile and made sure the temperature control settings with the HVAC system were perfect. I was pleased to see that we had plenty of wood for the fireplace as well. I figured we would get a fire going in the fireplace after we went fishing. We went out there with our poles and we caught some fish. It was actually a great time and we don’t usually get to have so much fun together. I gutted and cleaned the fish while she seasoned them and cooked them on the stove. Then I got the fire going in the fireplace and we had a relaxing dinner. It was such an enjoyable time. Then we watched a few episodes of the TV show we have been watching and we were able to relax in the cozy bed. The lake house has been wonderful and we had such a nice time. I honestly wish that we owned a place like that. Perhaps down the road when we retire, we can make such an investment.
