We actually had a struggling HVAC system because we never could afford to have it maintained properly.
I thought my life was going to be over when my parents split up when I was a kid. The thing is, I learned that life goes on and you just have to deal with the changes. My mother actually did very well even though she became a single parent for awhile. She ended up meeting a really great guy though who she dated for a little while. I actually liked the guy a lot and he had his own children who I managed to get along with. Eventually, they got married and suddenly we were all family. It was not a negative experience for all of us as we already liked one another. I just didn’t expect these kids to be my siblings. My stepfather was actually a very successful HVAC technician and he had a pretty nice place that we moved into. It took a little while to get adjusted to the new place, but I really loved it. He had a cozy fireplace that I loved hanging around while doing my homework or reading books. Also, the HVAC system was so much nicer than what my mother had at the old house. We actually had a struggling HVAC system because we never could afford to have it maintained properly. I would change the air filters but that was about it. At the new place, my step-father takes care of everything and he has even taught me a lot about maintaining HVAC systems. He told me that I would make a fine HVAC technician one of these days. I appreciate compliments like that, but it’s something I will have to think about moving into the future.
