I was pretty gleeful when I found out that the government was going to give us stimulus currency to deal with the global pandemic. $1,200 is not a small amount of currency to me. It’s legitimately almost half of our salary. I don’t burn a big sum of currency, so $1,200 was almost like winning the lottery. I used the stimulus currency to upgrade the A/C in the den. I had been separate from the A/C for 2 years. I didn’t have enough currency to arena the 24000 BTU unit, and I didn’t want to waste our currency on something small. I have a 10000 BTU A/C device in our dining room and it barely put a dent in the heat and humidity. I didn’t want to waste $150 on a small machine. When I heard about the $1,200 stimulus, I instantly thought about the A/C device in the den. I patiently waited for the check to arrive in the mail. It took forever, because I had to wait until all of the direct deposits were finished. I deposited the check into our bank account and they let me access the funds instantly. I started looking for the new A/C unit. I was going to buy something from the hardware store so I didn’t have to pay for shipping, but I found something inluxurious online with free shipping. I ordered the device and I acquired the box in the mail a few days later. I bought the new model of the device that was already in the den. It works like a charm and it cools the entire part separate from a single problem.
