It was always my dream to become an owner of a business.
The business I was most interested in was the HVAC industry. I guess you could say it’s because of all those times I went on calls with my uncle and he taught me so much about working on HVAC systems. Even though I knew quite a bit about working on HVAC systems, I didn’t really have all the knowledge about the history of them and other crucial things. I had a lot to learn as I figured out when I was in an HVAC trade school. I have to admit that I failed my HVAC certification test when I first took it. I still had faith in myself though, so I took the test again. Then I also failed again and that was pretty devastating. But hey, the third time’s the charm and that’s when I finally passed! It took me what seemed like forever to get into the HVAC industry but I did a great job in my training and I became a respectable HVAC professional. As I learned from trying to rush back in school, I decided that I would take my time before starting up my own HVAC company. I wanted to learn all the ropes and I didn’t want to be left unsure about any of the details. It was roughly 10 years after I started as an HVAC professional when I finally started up my own business. I didn’t rush anything and I made sure to get the perfect set up. I also took my time hiring all of the best professionals. My HVAC company has been running strong for a few years and it feels good to be living my dream!
