I used to have what I thought was a good friendship.
We always had good times over the years going to football games or having cookouts and things like that. Eventually I said that I wanted to buy my own house, and my friend wanted to help me look for a place. I looked at a bunch of places, but I wanted to find something that would be easier for me to afford. My buddy ended up suggesting a few places for us to look at. I didn’t really like most of the places except this one was okay. I really liked that it had a fireplace, but it seemed like it needed so much work. Even the HVAC system was entirely shot. My friend said that I didn’t have to worry because he knew how to repair the HVAC system and he said he could do renovation work around the house. Honestly, this was the only reason why I decided to buy the place, because he promised he could fix everything in there and it wouldn’t cost me much. After I bought the place, he did some work on the HVAC system, but he ended up making the problem worse. He kept saying not to worry and that he would fix it. He kept getting different HVAC parts that I had to pay for, but they turned out to be the wrong parts, according to the HVAC technician who I eventually hired. Also, the HVAC technician said it was not worth it to fix the old HVAC and I should really go for something new. I had to pay a small fortune for a new HVAC and I could no longer deal with my friend because I felt like he did me wrong.
