New furnace makes disturbing sounds

New furnace makes disturbing sounds

You never know what you had until it’s gone, am I right? I think that this is an old cliche…

But it holds true as you gain life experience and numerous regrets throughout your adulthood.

For instance, when you lose a romantic partner or friend and suddenly cannot stop appreciating all of the small things that they did for you. Or, if you move out of a certain region of the country and find yourself dreaming of the climate that you left behind. Recently, I realized that I never appreciated my boiler system the way that I should have. When I moved into this house I was surprised to see the old school boiler system in the basement. There were radiators located throughout the entire house which provided continual heat to every room. I never thought much of the old heating system, except when I adjusted the thermostats and happily felt the indoor air temperature increasing. I was happy that I could rely on my indoor air handling devices even though I did not really understand how the boiler system worked. And then… I decided to get a traditional forced air furnace. Since I already had air ducts in the house for my central air conditioning unit I decided I might as well connect a central heating system to them. Little did I know, the forced air furnace would create a lot of extra noise and airborne contamination that I was not accustomed to. Since I had the modern forced air furnace installed by a professional heating and cooling technician, my house has not been the same. It’s strangely loud and dirty all the time. I can’t sleep at night over the sound of the furnace cranking in the basement. And I’m ready to go back to my old boiler system as soon as I can get an HVAC worker on the property.
