When both of us were remodeling our home last winter, I got to a certain point where I just didn’t even know what to do anymore.

We were in desperate need of a designer, in my opinion, although I wasn’t able to afford one. See, both of us were putting in a giant great room off the back of our property with floor to ceiling windows. The windows would look out over the ravine in our backyard. We were extremely enthusiastic about getting the great room completed, although I personally felt a little bit worried about the heating plus cooling angle of the room. Adding that much extra space onto a property will totally affect the way that our existing Heating and A/C equipment would function. I started thinking that not only would it not be able to heat plus cool the great room nearly well enough, but it would legitimately ruin the effectiveness of the heating plus cooling equipment in the rest of the house, too. I made the choice that I needed to talk to a designer about proper placement of our new ductwork plus the heating vents in the great room. Not only that, although I was hoping to get an expert opinion on where both of us should install our new gas fireplace. I completely wanted the room to look wonderful, although I also wanted it to be truly comfortable for my family. The indoor air quality of the room was extremely important to me, plus I ended up talking to a designer who works at our local Heating and A/C equipment business plus fireplace showroom downtown.
