When we were remodeling our residence last cold season, I got to a particular point where I just didn’t even know what to do anymore! All of us were in severe need of a designer.

In my opinion, I didn’t particularly have room in my budget to hire one. See, every one of us were putting in a giant great room off the back of our residence with floor to ceiling windows, however the windows would look out over the ravine in our backyard. All of us were all particularly gleeful about getting the great room all the way completed, however I personally felt a little bit upset about the heating and cooling aspect of the room. Adding a huge amount of extra area onto a residence will particularly affect the way that our existing Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine would operate. I easily started thinking that not only would it not be able to heat and cool the great room good enough, however it would also wreck the effectiveness of the heating and cooling in the rest of the residence, too. I made the choice that I needed to talk to a designer about proper placement of our new HVAC ducts and the heating vents in the great room. Not only that, however I wanted to get a professional opinion on where we should install our new gas fireplace. I needed to have the room looking great, however I also wanted it to be comfy for our family. The air quality of the room was sincerely crucial to me, and so I ended up talking to a designer who works at our local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C machine contractor and fireplace showroom downtown.
