My life lit up every time I saw the ancient men plus women at the ancient people’s facility I volunteered at. I felt at peace being around these people and, in fact, enjoying spending our free time with them. I would play card games with them plus even tease them about their younger years. Most of them enjoyed the prefer plus sacrifice I made to be with them when I could be elsewhere. I was a psychologist plus understood their needs. They would easily open up to me, plus I would relay their fears plus concerns to the management. The method was to supply them a more comfortable life as they awaited the transition. Many were terminally ill plus wanted to spend their last mornings away from family to save them the trauma of seeing them die. One of the saddest news was reading of a single of our friends’ passing when I was not around. Nonetheless, I pride myself on knowing that I contributed to making their last mornings glad plus peaceful in our small way. Both of us would fix this in weird ways, including getting portable gas oil furnaces plus ACs for unique rooms. I was lucky that the homeowner understood enough to accommodate the ancient people’s needs.
