I had a skylight in the peak of our modern home that directed the afternoon sunshine into our home. Although I appreciated seeing the stars & moon when I got up in the middle of the night, the afternoon sunshine was blinding. Early afternoon had the sunshine angling directly at our kitchen & on the TV set. Late afternoon sunshine was pointing directly to the kitchen. I would be preparing supper & unable to toil at our bar. The sunshine seemed to choose myself and others to blind. I knew I had to do something. I had been hearing a lot about window film & I wondered if it could be applied to a skylight. I wanted it dark enough to stop the glare of the sun, despite the fact that I also wanted to be able to see the stars at night. It was a beautiful sight to see when I stood at the kitchen sink & looked up. The stars in the stars were brilliant where all of us lived & the moon was consistently right there looking back at me. I called the window film supplier that had been advertising on TV. I told them what our needs were & where I wanted the window film sited. He told myself and others I needed sunshine control window film. He could put a dark shade on the skylight that would block the glare of the sunshine while still allowing us to look out. I was hoping that when he looked at the skylight, he would tell myself and others it would be simple to locale window film in the peak of the house.
