If you want to be active, you can find a way to do it.
I hear a lot of folks who say they would start working out if they had more time.
But the trick is that when they do get the free time they say “well I never have free time, so I just wanted to relax.” I understand it’s hard to find the motivation, but you have to do it! No activity over a long period of time doesn’t just make you fat, it atrophies your health, and makes you feel worse in a lot of different ways, the extra weight being just one of them. Since I started my own workout program, I have been breathing easier and sleeping more deeply. A good night’s sleep, no matter how corny it sounds, is the foundation for a good day, so factor sleep in with your other health and wellness plans. You think about a workout program, you worry about your nutritional plans, and yet never give much thought at all to sleeping, although we spend 6 to 10 hours a night doing it! I work my body hard during the day, and let it get natural rest at night, and this is what makes my personal health and wellness plan so successful. I don’t go to a gym for this, nor do I have a personal trainer, I just set my own workout routines and follow them with great discipline. When you have the will, the passion, and the discipline to stick to a plan, you really don’t need a gym.
