We had to move far away from my mom, which was a new experience for us.
We had all gotten used to her being around, and she took such wonderful care of the teenagers. But work commitments had meant we had to relocate, my spouse got a promotion which was excellent for the family. But the commute to work was taking too long for him. The strain was leaving its mark since he hardly saw the kids anymore. So we found an apartment in the city where his job was and moved. Mom was ecstatic for us, I knew she would miss spending time with the teenagers, a remedy for that was to visit her as often as we could, especially during weekends. One weekend, we visited her and noticed the air in the home was not the best. I had set up an indoor air monitoring component for her. It showed the air quality was poor, and this could impact her health. Since I knew there was a solution for this, I placed the heating and A/C company near her home. They sent over an aircon mechanic to come to inspect the air quality, and she recommended we get a house air purification system set up, which would work with the cooling unit. The local A/C supplier had an air purification system which we purchased for mom. The mechanic came back another day to set it up and perfectly matched the heating and A/C system. She told us that air purification systems usually worked well with A/C units and we would soon notice a change in air quality.
