We had to move far away from my mom, which was a new experience for almost everyone. We had all gotten used to her being around, and she took such good care of the kids. But job commitments had meant we had to relocate, my fiance got a promotion which was excellent for the family. But the commute to work was taking too long for him. The strain was leaving its mark since he hardly saw the kids anymore. So we found a house in the city where his job was and moved. Mom was cheerful for us, but I knew she would miss spending time with the kids, and a remedy for that was to visit hwe as often as we could, especially during weekends. One weekend, we visited her and noticed the air in the house was not the best. I had set up an indoor air monitoring device for her. It showed the air quality was poor and this could impact his health. Since I knew there was a solution for this, I placed a call to the HVAC company near his home. They sent over an aircon mechanic to come to inspect the air quality. He proposed we get a home media air cleaner set up, which would work with the cooling unit. The local A/C company had a media whole-home air purifier which we bought for mom. The mechanic came back another day to set it up and perfectly matched the HVAC system. He told us that media whole-home air purifiers usually worked well with A/C units and we would soon notice a change in air quality.
