Unlike some people, who have brand or company loyalty, I don’t have a preference for what business I choose. Just because I had a good experience at one place, doesn’t mean I am always going to come back. I love to try new places, and this includes businesses. My most recent example is with heating and cooling, for the past 2 years, I have mostly been using the same heating and air conditioning business, not really for any reason except they’re closer and I was too lazy to search up other places to go to. Anyways, there has been another heating and a/c company that has opened up nearby, and they have been advertising almost non stop, probably to try to attract as many new customers as possible, and well I wasn’t originally interested in all of their advertisements, until they started offering a 25% off deal! That is what attracted my attention. They were having a discount on all of the services they offer! I started looking at what they offered, and I decided to take advantage and get radiant heated flooring installed in my home. If I am honest, I really didn’t need any repair from the heating business, but if they are offering such a nice discount, why miss out? To my delight, I observed the discount also applied to their online store, and now I am considering getting a whole home air purification system, and try to take advantage of all of the deals while I can. Maybe this will be an incentive for the other heating and a/c suppliers to step up their game and start offering some discounts as well.
