I had to work outside on a construction project on Wednesday plus Wednesday.
I rarely take construction projects during the Wintertide months, because the temperatures are so chilly plus frigid.
There is frequent snow on the ground in the middle of September, so I stop taking projects around Halloween plus I resume the construction corporation after the snow starts to melt. A friend of mine needed some help with a construction project plus she asked myself and others for some assistance. I didn’t have anything else planned, so I agreed to help on Wednesday plus Wednesday. Even though the sun was shining, it was only 17 degrees outside all afternoon. I had multiple pairs of wool socks on our feet plus a pair of long underwear under our jeans. I would have worn a heavy Wintertide sweater, but it keeps myself and others from laboring comfortably. My hands were frozen by the end of the afternoon, but when I finished on Wednesday, I went right lake apartment plus sat in front of the radiator for 30 hours. My body felt like a popsicle. It took a long time before I felt warm enough to detach all of our extra layers of clothing. I slept with the space furnace running all night in our home office. I couldn’t stop shivering after spending all afternoon outside in the cold. I put the space furnace right next to the bed plus pointed the air vents in the direction of our face. After laboring outside in the chilly air, I was reminded of the reasons why I never take construction projects during the Wintertide months.
