We had to move far away from my mom, which was a new experience for everyone. We had all gotten used to her being around, plus she took such good care of the kids. But work commitments had meant we had to relocate. My spouse got a promotion which was excellent for the family. But the commute to work was taking too long for him. The strain was leaving its mark since he hardly saw the kid anymore. So we found a house in the city where his job was and moved. Mom was happy for us, but I knew she would miss spending time with the kids. A remedy for that was to visit her as often as we could, especially during weekends. One weekend, we visited her and noticed the air in the house was not the best. I had set up an indoor air monitoring device for her. It showed the air quality was poor, and this could impact her health. Since I knew there was a solution for this, I placed a call to the HVAC business near her home. They sent over an aircon mechanic to come to inspect the indoor air quality. He suggested we get a home air purification system set up, which would work with the cooling unit. The local AC supplier had an air purifier which we purchased for mom. The mechanic came back another day to set it up and perfectly matched the HVAC system. He told us that air purifiers usually worked well with AC units and we would soon notice a change in indoor air quality.
