I had to take a flight home last year when my grandfather died.
I was on the other side of the country and I found one of the very last direct flights. I really didn’t want to waste any time getting home to be with my family, so I tried to find a flight that did not include a layover. I made my way to the airport a few hours after booking a flight. My friends were happy to help in any way. They drove me to the airport and took care of my dog while I was back at home. I really have the best friends that a person could want. About an hour into the flight, the air conditioner vents above my head stopped working. The air conditioner vents in the seat next to me were just fine, but I didn’t have any air flow at all. I raised my hand to alert the stewardess of a problem. See you spoke with someone else and then she asked if I was willing to change seats. I was already in the middle seat, so I didn’t think anything worse could occur. I agreed to move to a different seat and the stewardess escorted me to a first class seat. The seat was twice as big as the one in economy and I had two separate air vents to control the air conditioning. There was only one other person seated in the first-class section. It looks like someone famous, but it was probably a regular businessman in a suit. The rest of the flight was cozy and comfortable.
