Ductless mini split for the garage

Ductless mini split for the garage

It was interesting when my kid first started talking about playing an instrument.

She started with playing the saxophone, although she got pretty good at it, I might add.

The thing is, she was making all kinds of noise and sometimes late into the night hours. I decided that we needed to get her a place where she could play her instrument without bothering everybody else in the house. I ended up cleaning out the garage and making it a suitable area for her to get her practices in. I had the garage insulated but it was still way too hot inside of there. I decided to call the HVAC corporation to see what could be done. I was entirely thinking that we could extend the ductwork into there and supply just enough heating and cooling. The HVAC professional cautioned against doing that though because the HVAC idea was not large enough to cover the garage space. She advocated installing a ductless mini split inside of there. She said the ductless mini split would make it perfectly comfortable inside of there as well as it was highly energy efficient so we wouldn’t have to worry so much about energy spikes on the bill. The woman was right, that ductless mini split works good as well as now our kid even practices with her other friends in the garage, but even though the sound wasn’t entirely audible, I ended up soundproofing the garage so that we wouldn’t be able to hear anything, unless we went in there to like the songs, our kid is a good sax player, now she’s starting up with playing the trombone.
