I hardly ever brag about products that I buy because usually I guess I don’t make that great of a decision when shopping! However, the new smart thermostat system that I just bought for our house is really great and it’s really helping me out with my HVAC system. I had been having a lot of trouble with my heating and cooling system, but then I realized it was all because of my old and worn out thermostat system. The thermostat that I had before this one was actually original to the house, and I should have really upgraded it years ago. I guess it’s just one of those things that you don’t really get around to until you actually have to. At least that’s how things usually go with me, anyway. I would probably still have that old worn out thermostat if it hadn’t finally conked out on me and stopped working. Luckily for me, though, it finally did stop working and that’s when I started doing some research into different types of thermostats. I came across an HVAC blog that talked a lot about smart thermostats and why they are better than their predecessors. My new smart thermostat is able to learn my heating and cooling schedule in preferences and it ends up saving me money each month on my heating and cooling bills. Not only that, but I can adjust my temperature preferences right from my smartphone app. And then of course, the thermostat always reminds me when it’s time to change the air filters. I just love it.
