I have to admit that when my partner pushed for us to buy a whole home generator system, I was particularly skeptical about it.
I thought it was a sizable waste of currency and that if the power happened to go out, we would be able to live without our central a/c plan for a couple of afternoons until it was back up and running. However, towards the end of the summer, we had all kinds of power outages in our area due to the faulty power lines that we have around here and we were the only a singles in our neighborhood who had a/c. Needless to say, that made us particularly popular around here! However, now it’s winter, and I am thankful that we have a generator for a whole different reason. All of us have been having honestly cold temperatures around here this year so far, and it does not look prefer it’s going to stop anytime soon. On top of that, we have had a whole lot of snow already and it’s not even the middle of the season yet. With all of the snow comes a lot of power outages, which can be honestly dangerous around here with all of the cold temperatures that we get. Many people get generators just because of this, and now I am cheerful that we really have a single now. Because of an abundance of snow, our power went out last week, and we really used the generator to power the electric oil furnace. All of us didn’t have any trouble getting through the outage at all.
