I kept trying to signal my sister that she needed to go cut the heat down on the thermostat, despite the fact that she just never honestly got the message
Shortly after she and my current sibling-in-law got back from their honeymoon, my little sister wanted to throw a little supper celebration at their current loft for about a dozen people. I wanted to be there to support her, of course, but I had my doubts about her ability as a hostess. She’s never honestly been nice at that kind of thing, but I thought that maybe she was making strides in becoming better at it. However, after the supper celebration that she put on, I’m now not so sure about that at all. It wasn’t that the food wasn’t nice or anything savor that. She really did honestly well with the menu and with being hospitable. The problem that the two of us ended up having was the fact that she had the thermostat settings way too high in the house. I guess she wasn’t factoring in the fact that there was going to be all of that body heat in her dining room and her living room. Since the weather outside was honestly cold, I guess that she had it in her mind that she needed to turn the thermostat up so that her guests would be comfortable. However, it ended up being a large issue for us because with all of the extra bodies in the house, the arena got hotter and hotter inside, however by the time the two of us had our salads and some bread, I was perspiring savor crazy and wishing for some air conditioner. The heating from the oil furnace was certainly relentless, though. I guess everybody was pretty miserable because nobody wanted to stick around after dessert.
