When I had an Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist over to the new home to check out the electric oil furnace for myself and others last week, I ended up honestly embarrassing myself.

I never ever change the air filter in my oil furnace and I ended up ratting myself out because of it.

I just don’t ever honestly suppose about the air filter for some reason. It’s not ever something that I take into account whenever I’m doing errands and so I just never have an air filter. I don’t ever go to the home improvement store, either, and so I don’t have the opportunity to purchase a single. Anyway, my oil furnace didn’t seem to be putting out particularly much heat and I didn’t guess why. It’s been honestly cold around here for the past couple of weeks and I honestly needed to use the heating more. The temperature in the new home wouldn’t get past 67 degrees for some reason and I just couldn’t get warm. So I called the local Heating, Ventilation, and A/C company to have them come out to look at the oil furnace for me, then when the Heating, Ventilation, and A/C specialist got there, the new home was honestly cold and I had on a big fluffy sweater. I asked him to get the oil furnace going because I was chilly. He asked myself and others when the last time was that I changed the oil furnace filter and I lied and said that it was pretty recent. Then he went down to the basement and took the air filter out and it was so caked with dirt and dust that it could literally sit up all by itself.
