I have to admit that sometimes it’s really hard to be married to an HVAC technician.They don’t exactly have the best schedules in the world most of the time.
A lot of the time, he seems to bring his work home with him, especially when he’s having a hard time on a particularly difficult job. Sometimes he will be very grumpy whenever he gets home. When I ask him about it, he says it’s because he had a particularly hard time with a furnace repair or an air conditioning installation that day. I understand that, because sometimes I have a terrible day at work too. I guess I just think of his type of job as one that can just be left behind when he leaves work for the day. However, when you are as dedicated to your job as my husband is dedicated to the heating influence profession, I guess you can’t always just leave work at work. He really loves his job, and so I guess sometimes it’s just natural for him to bring his work home with him. Sometimes, though, I have to admit that it is difficult being married to him. He works long, hard hours, and a lot of times he is the only one on call for emergencies. I don’t like it when he has to leave in the middle of the night or when he has to go out during holidays or on the weekends. Sometimes it’s just difficult to be married to an HVAC technician, but I guess I just have to learn to deal with it.
