Whenever my mom was honestly sick last year, my older sibling ended up getting a job so that he could help her out with the bills.
I was younger than him and so I was honestly watching him to see what his example was. It was a fantastic example, too! He didn’t have to do it, but he decided that he was going to get a job to help out my mom and she didn’t even guess it at first. He saved up enough money to pay the heating and cooling bills for her and she was so ecstatic about it that she cried! My sibling was honestly proud of himself for being able to pay the heating and cooling bills for my mom and so he decided to keep on doing it. It was the middle of the Winter at that point and so the two of us were running the oil furnace way more than normal. I remember that my mom was super concerned about how high the heating bills were going to be. My sibling just told our mom not to worry about it and that he would pay for the heating bills for the rest of the winter. My mom was so relieved and I was honestly ecstatic at that point that the two of us were all pitching in to get through a strenuous time in our family. Anyway, my sibling was honestly fantastic about it and even though it’s been a while, my sibling has decided to keep his job. He said that since he’s getting older, he feels savor he should keep on paying some of the bills in the house. The 1 that he has decided to keep paying is the heating and cooling bill.
