I’ll be perfectly honest, I was not concerned to see the gym membership become a casualty of the pandemic. Unlike my husband, I didn’t honestly care for going to the gym. At the same time, it had become changingly clear that resting in my recliner soaking up the a/c & sucking down beers wasn’t enjoyable either. So I finally acquiesced & started going to the gym with my husband. Well, maybe not quite as frequent as he went. There were morning where I was still on my first cup of coffee when she’d come walking in from a morning workout. A gym rat, I was not. Plus, I honestly never liked how the a/c seemed just regularly overwhelmed. The humidity level was just never getting balanced by any of the heating & cooling process from the commercial Heating, Ventilation plus A/C equipment. So when the pandemic hit, my husband & I both stopped going to the gym. It was absolutely his plan to stop the gym membership & I smiled in delight. But he had a plan. She wasn’t stopping the workouts. She was just relocating them. Within a month of leaving the gym, I started seeing all sorts of preowned exercise equipment party in the basement. The next thing I know, every one of us have a full blow gym in our basement. Not only was he working out down there but so were his friends. I knew I would have to join in however I had an plan of my own. I called the Heating, Ventilation plus A/C company & had a ductless heat pump installed in the basement. So now I’m at least working out in the most perfect quality heating & air of any gym anywhere.
