Even though living in the south subjects me to some of the most brutal Summer weather from one coast to another, I’d be a liar if I said it wasn’t our favorite season.
- I hated everything about university plus loved every minute I had at home, especially while in Spring, winter, plus Summer break.
It’s when I was able to explore our hobbies plus hang out with our friends. I also got a occasion to spend quality time with our parents in the hours when they’d be beach house from labor in the late day plus early evening. Some afternoons our siblings plus I would be at our Grandparents’s beach house until our parents returned from their tasks. Unluckyly, our Grandparents rarely ran the a/c plus instead relied on opening windows plus creating a cross breeze in the house. Some afternoons were conducive to this practice, while other afternoons it was sweltering sizzling with no wind plus high humidity as well. Thankfully our parents would crank the a/c as soon as both of us got back to our beach house for the evening. I really owe it to our parents for maintaining such a comfortable environment for us while both of us were young. Most of our friends had to deal with sizzling hot plus cold temperatures in the summer, plus I remember how uncomfortable it was to play video games at our next door neighbor’s beach house in the middle of June. His parents never used a/c plus would simply open windows plus occasionally turn on fans to make the indoor environment more comfortable. Nowadays I take it for granted how often I use a/c to relax on a sizzling Summer day.
