Normally I don’t mind inviting my sibling to stay at my apartment for a month or multiple as a means to get away from her hectic life.
Usually both of us have a lot of fun watching films, eating pizza, plus drinking liquor, but she hasn’t been herself lately.
Her moods have turned sour plus she isn’t nice much of the time, regardless of how much kindness you show her from the jump. It’s strenuous when someone is such a relaxing friend to you for so many years plus then quickly swings at the snap of a finger. But that’s compounded when the woman happens to be your sibling as well as your friend. Regardless, I recently invited my sibling to stay with me for a month as a means to cheer her up following a recent divorce. I have a guest bedroom with a separate cooling system in the window if the air conditioning coming from the ceiling vent is insufficient. Usually people use the window air conditioning sparingly when they’re staying in my guest bedroom, but she has been using it non-stop during both the day plus night. I already think how exhausting of a hit my electric bill is going to take after a month of this happening every single day. I have been running the central cooling system less to compensate, although I think that just causes her to run the window air conditioning even more. It’s strenuous for me to say this to myself, although I think I’ll be thankful when she finally leaves. I prefer my sibling but not enough to put up with this kind of behavior.
