My wife and I took a nice vacation last month and we were gone for 5 days and 4 nights.
We decided to go to a ski lodge about 2 hours away from our home.
My wife and I both enjoy skiing. We thought going to a ski resort would be a fun and relaxing vacation. During the day we spent time on the slopes. At night we had an intimate dinner by the fireplace and then we spent the evening relaxing. The fireplace was a nice addition to our room, but the radiant heated flooring in the bathroom was the best part. There was a dial on the bathroom wall to control the amount of heat coming from the flooring. The dial was not for temperatures. It had five settings numbered one through five. Five was the highest and warmest set, and one was the lowest and coolest setting. My wife and I set the temperature on the 4th setting. Every time we went to the bathroom, we got to enjoy the radiant heated flooring. It felt really nice under my feet, especially during the morning hours, before the sun came up. The rest of the room was warm thanks to an exceptional room heater. Still, the nicest part of the room and the warmest area was definitely the bathroom. Radiant heated flooring works very well and provides warm comfort at the touch of a fingertip. It doesn’t get too hot and you can adjust the temperature very easily. If I was going to replace the heating system in my home, I would definitely consider radiant flooring as an option.
