He is there for all deliveries and repairs that need to be made. Last week, we had to have the HVAC technician come to the house and do some repairs to our air conditioning unit. I had never seen the HVAC technician because I was at work, but on this day, I had a personal day off. When the HVAC technician climbed out of the service van, I knew I was in trouble. When I was in school, I dated this man. We were planning on getting engaged as soon as we graduated from college. I wasn’t ready for marriage, so I simply went home and never talked to him again. How could this HVAC technician be the same man I had jilted on our last day of college? I ran into the house, hoping he would either not see me or not recognize me. I was ten years older and married with a daughter. When the HVAC technician came into the house, my husband took him out back to the air conditioning unit. He must have seen me when I walked past the window. It took him less than fifteen seconds to make it from the air conditioning unit and into the kitchen. My husband smiled and told me he had mentioned to the HVAC tech that I was home when he saw our wedding picture and recognized me. We spent a little time chatting before he invited us to his home for a BBQ with his wife and kids.
