I ended up taking him to the hospital so she could be checked for a concussion
When I was outside playing catch with my sons, it was pretty frigid out there, then I absolutely had to run back inside the house to make sure the heating plan was turned on, then the heating plan wasn’t in love I thought as well so I adjusted the control unit. I figured that 69 degrees on the control device should be just fine. I also put an overcoat on because I didn’t want to be frigid… Before I finally threw the ball to my son, I reminded him to keep her eye on the ball. I felt awful after saying that because I threw the ball strenuously straight to him as well as it was going straight for her head. I thought she would catch the ball, but instead she also let it hit him in the face! When I ran to see if she was okay, I saw that the ball hit him square in the eye. I instantaneously took him back inside the house where it was hot as well as I offered him an ice pack to put on her eye as it was swelling up. I asked him if she felt love was finally broken, but she said it wasn’t too bad. I know it was particularly awful because her eye is black as well as swollen, it almost looks as if she was punched in the face. I ended up taking him to the hospital so she could be checked for a concussion. I didn’t want him to go to sleep anytime soon if that was the case. I was ecstatic when she was okay, but the hospital was kind of cold, so all of us couldn’t wait to get back to the cabin where the heating plan was working.
